INNER LOOK: REFLECTION OF SELF

I found myself very frustrated about something and I began to vent about it. Within a short time after doing so I began to feel a strong conviction within. I asked God to reveal my heart to me regarding my frustration. It always humbles me when I experience how quickly God moves when I ask Him to reveal the hidden places of my heart that causes me pause due to my outward expressions. What He revealed to me was a direct reflection of the flaw that lives within in me.
It's important to trust God in EVERYTHING. Some of the things that has frustrated me the most were direct mirrors that showed me the areas that God was able to mend my brokenness and ultimately did a great work in me when I allowed Him to.
Ask yourself if God may be using that “blank” to show you a reflection of you that He can use to do a great work in and through you, if you would just allow Him to.
It's not always easy to see the flaws within us because the flaw itself requires a greater work from us. Which often times means a refelection of the journey we have been on. That journey may come with it, many wrong turns we have made, broken relationships we have caused, misunderstandings and a few others that you may only know. But the truth is, genuine healing and forgiveness can only come when we own it without excuses and allow God to build from there.
